Bean, Kinney & Korman's government contracts group stands ready to assist government contractors with the myriad of issues faced when contracting with the public sector. We are prepared to provide the necessary services to help guide contractors through the intitial procurement process, including contracts directly with the federal government, subcontracts supporting federal contracts, contracts with certain state and local governments, teaming arrangements on public contracts and contract between the federal government and minority owned companies. During the contract administration phase, we are happy to assist the contractor with various contract issues, including cost and pricing analysis, FAR requirements and compliance issues. During audits and investigaitons, we will provide legal advice and guidance in responding to the government's inquiries on an efficient and cost effective basis. Furthermore, should the government contractor wish to contest government action, our lawyers stand ready to protect interests of the government contractor, which include representing the contract in bid protests, Qui Tam and false claim actions, criminal investigations, contract suspensions and terminations, and FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests.
