Carol J. Schrier-Polak,has been named the 2008 recipient of the Family Law Service Award presented by the Virginia State Bar's Family Law Section.The award recognizes people and organizations that have improved family, domestic relations, or juvenile law in Virginia.
Carol Schrier-Polak received the Family Law Service Award for successfully leading the lobbying efforts to repeal a Virginia law limiting admissibility of the testimony of Mental Health Professionals in Domestic Relations cases.
