Arlington County Courthouse

The Arlington County courthouse and jail are located on Courthouse Road, in between Wilson and Clarendon Boulevards to the North, and Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) to the South. The courthouse is across the street from the Courthouse Metro stop on the Orange Line. Metered parking of various durations is available across the street in a moderately-sized surface lot, and on the roads immediately adjacent to the courthouse. In addition, public underground parking at hourly/daily rates is available in several of the nearby office buildings, including Courthouse Plaza (parking access from 14th and 15th Streets) and 2000 North 14th Street, the building in which Bean, Kinney is located. Most of these locations tend to be filled by 10 a.m., however. Bean, Kinney clients are generally able to park in our building, and we will validate your parking ticket if you remind us prior to your leaving our offices.

Arlington County Bar Association offices are located in the Walter T. McCarthy Law Library, on the first floor of the courthouse building. The Law Library (703-228-7005) is open weekdays to the public during normal business hours. There is an information window also located on the first floor of the building in the lobby.

Those having business at the courthouse around lunchtime, or who otherwise are looking for a quick cup of coffee or snack, there are several restaurants and delis in and around the courthouse complex.
