Ms. Meinzer is a shareholder with the firm and a civil and criminal litigator. Ms. Meinzer’s business and commercial practice includes contract disputes, title insurance cases, representation of entities in dissolution proceedings, employment and covenant not to compete matters, trademark litigation and business, professional and occupational license (BPOL) tax appeals. Ms. Meinzer also represents individuals in the areas of criminal defense, expungement proceedings, protective order hearings and representation of victims and witnesses in criminal proceedings. Ms. Meinzer is a LEED Accredited Professional with knowledge of the law as it relates to the design, construction and operation of green buildings.

Having served as a public defender for almost six years prior to joining Bean, Kinney & Korman, she has extensive litigation experience, including twenty jury trials and numerous appeals to the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Virginia.
