Mr. Bryan is Of Counsel with the firm. Mr. Bryan’s business practice embraces the issues that confront the business owner during the life of the business, from formation to exit. Within this range, his practice includes advice in structuring the business, agreements among its owners, raising capital, employment matters and third party contracts and relationship documents such as joint venture and teaming agreements. Representative client industry sectors include government affairs, security services, investment and asset management, consulting services, software technology, medical products and services, food services, and professional firms.

Mr. Bryan has more than 25 years experience in fundamental entity transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and management buy outs, whether as exit strategy or mechanism to further growth.

Mr. Bryan’s individual practice centers on the issues surrounding the preservation and disposition of wealth. His typical role is to provide advice and recommendations regarding issues and options at various stages of life, based on a client’s particular business and personal objectives and needs. A significant component of the practice is alternative strategies for holding and disposing of assets, both during life and at death, and the costs and benefits of each.

Mr. Bryan received his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he was the Executive Editor of the Virginia Tax Review.
