Mr. Kinney is a shareholder of the firm. He is a widely recognized land use attorney with over 30 years experience. Mr. Kinney is listed in “Best Lawyers in America” and is “AV” rated by Martindale Hubbell. He lectures extensively with the American Foreign Service Protective Society, the Senior Living Foundation, federal and state agencies and Northern Virginia community organizations. Mr. Kinney is a LEED Accredited Professional with knowledge of the law as it relates to the design, construction and operation of green buildings.

Mr. Kinney is past chairman of the Arlington Community Service Board, the Arlington Housing commission and Northern Virginia Legal Services.  He also served on the Board of the Arlington County Community Housing Finance Corporation and currently as Trustee of the Arlington County Employee Retirement System.  Mr. Kinney also currently serves as Vice President of the Clarendon Alliance and as Trustee for the Arlington Community Foundation and the Community Residences Foundation.
