Attorneys Recognized as Part of Virginia Business' Prestigious Legal Elite 2010

Jonathan Kinney, Carol Schrier-Polak, Philip Keating and Timothy Hughes named among Virginia’s top lawyers


ARLINGTON, VA, December 2, 2010—Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C. announced today that four of its attorneys, Jonathan Kinney, Carol Schrier-Polak, Philip Keating and Timothy Hughes, have been listed as part of the Virginia Business Legal Elite 2010.

Virginia Business’ Legal Elite recognizes the top lawyers in Virginia in a variety of practice areas. Lawyers are invited to vote for other lawyers, and then the magazine makes their selection based on the highest scores received.

A shareholder with Bean Kinney, Jon is listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” and is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He lectures extensively with the American Foreign Service Protective Society, the Senior Living Foundation, federal and state agencies and Northern Virginia community organizations. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Carol Schrier-Polak, shareholder of the firm, is listed in the Legal Elite Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) category. Carol’s expertise in family law, domestic relations, family mediation and ADR has earned her wide recognition. She is listed in “The Best Lawyers of America” and on the “Top Divorce Lawyers in Metropolitan Washington” by The Washingtonian for several years running. She is listed as a “Super Lawyer” by both Virginia and Washington, DC. She was also honored with Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s “Leader in the Law Award.”
