BEAN, KINNEY & KORMAN APPOINTS KEVIN T. PIGOTT AS OF COUNSEL TO THE FIRM

Arlington, VA, January 24, 2013 – Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C. announced today the addition of Kevin T. Pigott as Of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Pigott will practice in the areas of commercial real estate, financing and corporate transactions. He is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, and his admission to the Virginia State Bar is in process.

For over 8 years, Mr. Pigott has represented clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing and management of real estate assets across industry sectors. He has specific experience in joint ventures, real estate private equity, distressed investment scenarios, retail and office leasing, and land declarations and covenants in single-family and mixed-use communities.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pigott was a partner at a national full-service law firm in the real estate development practice group. He has previously served in an in-house capacity for various companies in the real estate, finance and securities industries.

Mr. Pigott received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He received a B.A. and B.S. from James Madison University.
