Keating has begun his role as Chair of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce for 2010. In this role, Keating plans to enhance Chamber involvement with Arlington County decision-makers on behalf of local businesses, to drive interaction between businesses, and to emphasize the critical role of the business community in making Arlington the vibrant community it is. He has represented clients in the hotel and hospitality, information technology, biotechnology and professional services industries, as well as with educational institutions and sports related firms. He also has significant experience working with non-profit organizations to help them better serve their members, contributors and benefactors. Keating has a B.A. degree from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ and a J.D. from George Washington University, Washington, DC. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, served as Vice Chair for Economic Development and Government Affairs for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Management Relations Committee of the Virginia State Chamber of Commerce. |
