Overview

John Bryan is of counsel with Bean, Kinney & Korman representing businesses, as well as individual clients.

His business practice focuses on the issues confronting a business owner during the life of the business, from formation to exit. Within this range, he advises clients in structuring the business, agreements among its owners, raising capital, employment matters and third-party contracts and relationship documents, such as joint venture and teaming agreements. John represents clients in industry sectors including government affairs, security services, investment and asset management, consulting services, software technology, medical products and services, food services and professional firms.

John has more than 25 years of experience in fundamental entity transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and management buyouts, whether as exit strategy or mechanism to further growth.

In his individual practice, John represents individuals and families on issues surrounding wealth transfers, preservation, and disposition. He typically provides advice and recommendations on the issues and options at various stages of life. A significant component of his practice includes alternative strategies for holding and disposing of assets, both during life and at death, while assessing the costs and benefits of each.
