Rachelle E. Hill is an associate with the firm and focuses her practice in civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on employment law and commercial litigation. Ms. Hill has experience litigating in courts throughout Virginia and the District of Columbia. She also has experience defending claims of sexual harassment, discrimination and constructive discharge, and has counseled employers on issues involving personnel policies, employee handbooks, and disciplining and firing employees. In addition, she has represented clients in alternative dispute resolution forums, including conducting mediations on the county and federal level.

Ms. Hill is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, Arlington County Bar Association, Fairfax Bar Association and Virginia Women Attorneys Association.

Ms. Hill graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish. She received her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List and a recipient of the Gressman-Pollitt Award for Outstanding Oral Advocacy.

Ms. Hill gives back to the local community by volunteering her time with nonprofits and bar organizations. She has been an active volunteer with the Fairfax Bar Association’s Neighborhood Outreach Program, which provides legal assistance to low-income individuals. In addition, Ms. Hill is a pet therapy team volunteer with her dog “Ellie” and the two can often be found working with children and the elderly at local libraries and retirement homes.
