Ms. Meyer is a shareholder with the firm specializing in family law, with a concentration in litigation. As a trial attorney, Ms. Meyer has nearly fifteen years of experience in domestic relations matters representing her clients throughout Northern Virginia and surrounding areas (including Prince William County, Stafford County, Spotsylvania County and the City of Fredericksburg) as well as the District of Columbia.

Ms. Meyer zealously represents her clients in all aspects of family law, including counseling and representing clients in the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial agreements, divorce, custody, support, division of marital assets, and post-divorce modification and enforcement issues. Ms. Meyer has also developed a special interest in mental health issues and divorce such as confidentiality and record-keeping.
 

Ms. Meyer is listed in The Best Lawyers of America for Family Law and listed as one of Virginia’s “Rising Stars” and "Super Lawyers” for 2007, 2009 and 2010.  She has also been recognized as one of the “Top Divorce Lawyers” in Metropolitan Washington in the February 2009 issue of Washingtonian Magazine. She currently serves as a Neutral Case Evaluator for the Fairfax County Circuit Court.
 

Ms. Meyer is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is the former Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Arlington County Bar Association and a former Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Arlington County Bar Association. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section, the Fairfax County Bar Association Family Law Section and the District of Columbia Bar.
 

Ms. Meyer graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, Honors Program, in 1992 (B.A., with departmental honors in Political Science, magna cum laude). She received her law degree from the Washington College of Law, American University (J.D.), in 1995.
