The Alexandria Division of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia is located in the Martin V.B. Bostetter Courthouse in the center of Old Towne Alexandria. The Bankruptcy Court is located at the corner of South Washington Street and Prince Street, one block south of King Street. If you are driving, arrive early. Street parking is very limited around the Courthouse. There is both metered and non-metered street parking throughout the Courthouse area; however, it is often difficult to find convenient street parking, and except for residents, parking is generally limited to two hours. There is a municipal parking garage about four blocks northeast of the courthouse, under the main city square. Access to that garage is from Fairfax Street, ½ block north of King Street. There are several other public garages and surface lots in Old Town, including, under the Holiday Inn on King Street, the garage ½ block north of King Street on Lee Street, and at the corner of St. Asaph and Cameron Streets.
