Overview
Nicole Salisbury is an associate attorney with Bean, Kinney & Korman, practicing family law and domestic relations. As a family law attorney and divorce lawyer, she practices in all areas of family law, including divorce, alimony, child custody, child support, property distributions, prenuptial agreements, and settlement agreements.
Nicole has a unique background in government and corporate litigation, which gives her insight into the issues many of her clients face in family law. She has numerous clients that work for the government or own their own businesses. Her past corporate work experience helps her effectively deal with the nuances of these fields. Nicole’s decision to leave corporate litigation and focus on family law grew out of the same reasons she decided to attend law school—her desire to work closely with individuals during difficult times in their lives and the opportunity to apply creative solutions to legal and emotional challenges in a way that is not called for in business disputes.
Nicole has been appointed Guardian Ad Litem in Virginia by the court and is licensed to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Beyond the Suit
Outside of the office or courtroom, Nicole enjoys reading a good book, trying out new recipes, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family.
