Joe Meadows Joins Bean, Kinney & Korman as a Shareholder

ARLINGTON, VA—Bean, Kinney & Korman announced today that Joe Meadows has joined the firm as a shareholder. Mr. Meadows is a trial attorney who focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, primarily in the areas of internet defamation / disparagement and cyber-attack matters. His cases involve First Amendment anonymity claims, online impersonation, domain name hacking, anti-SLAPP laws, Communications Decency Act Section 230, and the Stored Communications Act. He is also a key resource on expert witness evidence and serves as an editor for the ABA Expert Witness Committee.

Mr. Meadows has tried cases before judges and juries, arbitrated commercial disputes, and argued trial and appellate matters in courts across the country, including state and federal courts in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.

Prior to joining Bean Kinney, Mr. Meadows was at Crowell & Moring LLP. He is barred in Virginia, D.C. and Maryland and is the Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Science & Technology Law, Internet of Things Committee.

Mr. Meadows has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University, earned his law degree from West Virginia University of College of Law and his LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
