Document Retention Policy
Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C. — Effective Date: [July 10, 2026]
Bean, Kinney & Korman maintains records and document management practices designed to protect client confidentiality, support responsible information management, and promote sustainability.
As part of these practices, the firm generally retains hard copy client records from resolved matters for ten (10) years. After the applicable retention period has passed, eligible records are identified and securely destroyed in accordance with the firm’s document retention procedures. This process is conducted on an ongoing basis and may vary depending on the nature of the matter, applicable legal or ethical obligations, client instructions, or other circumstances requiring longer retention.
This policy is intended as a general statement of the firm’s records management practices and does not create any contractual rights, duties, or obligations.
