The firm is devastated to share the untimely death of our colleague, D. Justin Roberts. Justin was an associate with the firm focusing in corporate, transactional, and mergers and acquisitions matters. Prior to joining the firm, Justin served as a senior staffer of the Committee on Business and Economic Development of the Council of the District of Columbia and the National Black Caucus of State Legislators. Justin interned for the Honorable Judge Jerrauld C. Jones after obtaining his J.D. from Howard University School of Law.

“While Justin’s tenure with the firm was all too brief, he had a tremendous and immediate impact in his work and his presence within the firm. Justin had incredible infectious energy, a keen intellect, and incisive emotional intelligence. It cannot be overstated how much he will be missed by all who knew him,” said Tim Hughes, Managing Shareholder of the firm.
