Harrison is a shareholder and business litigator at Bean, Kinney & Korman who represents companies and executives in commercial disputes in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Most commonly, his cases involve ownership disputes, breaches of contract, breaches of fiduciary duty, fraud, corporate governance matters, and related business torts.
Harrison is often engaged before litigation begins, advising clients on pre-suit investigation and strategy. He continues his representation through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and appeal. In addition to substantial trial experience, Harrison has argued and briefed cases before the Virginia Court of Appeals, the D.C. Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Harrison’s industry focus is government contracts. He frequently files or opposes bid protests before the GAO, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, or assorted agencies. He also litigates and advises on disputes between prime contractors and sub-contractors, and advises government contractors on compliance guidelines, including small business and HUBZone regulations.
In addition to his litigation practice, Harrison assists clients with general business and corporate matters as outside counsel. His extensive litigation experience informs his transactional work, particularly in identifying potential risks and negotiating protections.
