Jonathan Harrison is a shareholder with Bean, Kinney & Korman, focusing his practice on representing clients in complex commercial litigation and government contracts matters at the state and federal levels. Before returning to Bean, Kinney & Korman in 2025, Jonathan served as an assistant attorney general in the Consumer Protection Section of the Office of the Virginia Attorney General, where he litigated consumer protection actions involving state and federal laws prohibiting unfair or deceptive business practices.
Frequently, Jonathan counsels businesses and individuals on litigation strategies and legal issues including bid protests, claims and disputes, sub-prime issues, and civil investigative demands (CID’s). He has first and second chaired multiple trials and routinely handles depositions and motions in Court. Jonathan is also experienced in representing clients in alternatives to litigation including mediations and arbitrations. He has represented clients in an array of matters, including:
