Samuel J. Turley is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, construction, employment, government contracting, appellate matters, and negligence/personal injury. He counsels and represents a wide range of clients, including contractors and small to medium-sized business owners, with particular experience in construction disputes, commercial landlord-tenant matters, and business and corporate litigation.

Before joining Bean, Kinney and Korman, Samuel served as a judicial law clerk for the Arlington County Circuit Court and previously worked as a law clerk with the firm. His experience also includes legal externships and roles in legal education and admissions. He clerked for the Honorable Daniel S. Fiore, II, of the Arlington County Circuit Court.

Samuel is admitted to practice in Virginia and before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the inferior courts of the Commonwealth. He earned his J.D. from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.

Active in the local legal community, Samuel serves as President of the Arlington Bar Association Young Lawyers and is an adjunct professor for Advanced Trial Advocacy at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School. He is also involved with the Arlington Bar Association and the Arlington Community Foundation.
