We strive to attract top legal talent by offering a comprehensive, hands-on experience for law students, helping them develop practical skills and gain insight into their future legal careers. Our summer law clerks collaborate with both associates and shareholders, tackling a variety of assignments across diverse practice areas. This real-world exposure is essential for building a strong foundation in the legal profession, allowing clerks to develop critical skills that will set them up for long-term success.

A key component of Bean, Kinney & Korman’s culture is our open-door policy, which gives law clerks direct access to experienced attorneys for mentorship, guidance, and feedback. We encourage law clerks to take initiative, ask questions, and engage fully in their development while maintaining their independence. They can expect detailed, constructive feedback on their work, promoting continuous professional growth. This supportive environment empowers law clerks to explore their areas of interest while being mentored by seasoned professionals who are invested in their success.

In addition to hands-on legal work, our law clerks are fully integrated into the firm’s culture. They are invited to participate in attorney meetings, informal lunches, training seminars, and community activities, giving them a well-rounded experience that extends beyond legal practice. These opportunities not only foster their professional development but also allow them to build meaningful relationships with their colleagues, strengthening their connection to the firm and the legal community.

This holistic approach ensures that our law clerks leave with the professional and legal skills, confidence, and connections they need to excel in their legal careers.
