  • Assisted a nonprofit organization with gaining approval for expansion of an existing group home for chronically homeless adults.
  • Guided a client through the Arlington County approval process from initial filing to unanimous approval for a special use permit to expand its facility, with favorable conditions.
  • Assisted an estate with the appointment of administrator and negotiation of a non-judicial settlement between the decedent’s heir and the heirs of the decedent’s late-wife’s estate. The non-judicial settlement avoided the more costly and adversarial court proceeding. The agreement allowed the estate to be settled in a more timely fashion and avoid a significant tax penalty.
